Why Touch Screens Only Respond to Fingers: The Science Behind the Sensitivity

  I. Introduction Touch screen technology enables direct interaction with devices through touch. Using either capacitive or resistive methods, these screens detect user input, translating it into commands. Widely used in smartphones, tablets, and kiosks, touch screens offer intuitive navigation, eliminating the need for physical buttons and enhancing user experience across various applications. Understanding how touch screens work is crucial for users and developers alike. It enhances user experience by ensuring effective interaction, informs choices in device selection, and guides troubleshooting. For developers, knowledge of touch technology is vital for creating intuitive applications and improving interface design, ultimately leading to greater user satisfaction. This blog aims to explore why touch screens predominantly respond to fingers, delving into the science behind touch sensitivity. By examining the principles of capacitive and resistive technology, we will uncover the

What is Industry 5.0

Industrial Revolution:

The Industrial Revolution is the transition process in modern history from the agricultural and craft industries to industries involving industry and technology. These technological changes brought about new ways of working and living and changes in society. The process began in England in the 18th century and spread from there to other parts of the world. Although French writers were the first to use the term, British economic historian Arnold Toynbee(1852) first used the term to describe the economic development of Great Britain from 1760 to 1840. economic change rather than a specific place.This explains why some regions, such as China and India, did not experience the first economic revolution until the 20th century, while others, such as the United States and Eastern Europe, lost, and a "second" economic revolution began in the 19th century. Below is a brief discussion of the Industrial Revolution. For a full discussion of the Industrial Revolution in Europe, see European History: Great Power.

The key features of the Industrial Revolution are technology, business and culture. Technological change includes: (1) the use of new materials, primarily metals, (2) the use of new energy sources, including oil and energy, such as coal, steam engines, electricity, gas and internal combustion engines, and (3) the use of less work to produce. (4) new work organization called factory, requiring increased division of labor and specialization, (5) development including electric machine, electric machine, automobile, airplane, telephone and radio transportation and communication, which is important in the repair and (6) the use of science in the growing economy.
These technological changes make it possible to use natural resources and produce large-scale products. There are also many new developments in the non-commercial sector: (1) improvements in agriculture that make it possible for non-farmers to be larger, (2) economic reforms that lead to a greater distribution of wealth in the economy. Land appreciation in the face of economic growth and increased international trade, (3) political change affecting the shift of economic power and new government policies affecting the needs of industrialized societies, and (4) social change involving growth. the development of cities, the working class, and the emergence of new forms of authority; and (5) cultural change in general. Workers acquired new and specialized skills and their relationship to work changed; they became machine workers who obeyed factory discipline instead of craftsmen working with hand tools. Finally, there is a psychological change: increased confidence in the ability to use resources and master the situation.

What is a job 5.0?

While robots have traditionally left workers and worked behind safety cages, the company's robots began working with humans in 2008 at Linatex, which supplies plastic and rubber products for industry. (1)
The integration of human and machine workers opens up countless opportunities in manufacturing. Industry 5.0 applications are still in their infancy, so manufacturers need to actively develop ways to integrate human and machine workers to achieve the best possible results when power continues.
The European economy is the main driver of the economic and social transformation we are currently going through.

To sustain the success engine, the business must make a digital and green transition.
This approach provides a business vision that goes beyond efficiency and productivity as the goal and promotes business responsibility and community engagement. The ensures the health of employees at the heart of the production process and uses the latest technology to achieve success by working and growing while controlling the world's production limits.
Complements the existing 4.0 economy, particularly by providing research and innovation in the service of the transition to a sustainable, decentralized and dynamic European economy.

Why Industry 5.0?

Business can play an important role in solving social problems, including resource conservation, climate change and social security.
  • Future jobs for the benefit of businesses, workers and people.
  • Supports employees and pays for their skills and training.
  • It increases the competitiveness of the business and helps attract the best talent.
  • This is good for our world because it stimulates production and introduces technologies that make the use of natural resources more efficient.
  • Changing the existing value chain and using electricity can also make the business more vulnerable to external factors such as the Covid-19 crisis.

Changing the existing value chain and using electricity can also make the business more vulnerable to external factors such as the Covid-19 crisis.
  • Business 5.0 is designed to support people - they do not replace them.

Business 5.0 is designed to support people - they do not replace them.

Do not perceive the rise of robots as an opportunity to fire and replace workers who perform repetitive tasks on assembly lines. Developers who understand the value of human perspective and problem solving set themselves up for success. "People often think that manufacturing workers are a bad substitute for robots," Susan Helper, an economist at
Case Western Reserve University, told the New York Times. “But in reality these jobs are very difficult and assembly workers make a lot of decisions. It seems that when you get that person you run into some hard-to-solve problems.

(2)
Even Tesla CEO Elon Musk has tweeted that "people are worthless", admitting that his company's "overwork" is a mistake. (3)
Although robots are similar and better at working efficiently than humans, they are not volatile and lack the flexibility and rationality to define us as the same. Helping and improving our lives, Universal Robots uses the term "collaborative robots" for collaborative robots to highlight the importance of humans in robotics.
"Industry 5.

“By making the factory a place where creative people can come to work, it will create a personal and human experience for employees and customers,” said Esben Østergaard, Universal Robots CTO and co-founder at Enterprise IoT Insights.

Is Industry 6.0 is expected to come?

Many people fear losing their job due to the success of industrial automation, so starting a new revolution in the economy requires more traditional jobs than unemployed people. Otherwise, there will be social dissatisfaction and negative feelings in the society. This change focuses on providing virtualized antibreakage production and anti-breakage services. It will focus on customer orientation, customer centric ethics, hyperconnected industries with dynamic supply chains, flexibility in automation, internal value networks, appropriate cross-border and regional management inside or outside the interaction organization.

What are the challenges expected in Industry 6.0?

The Industrial Revolution 6.0 dream can only be realized with good work and cooperation between the government and manufacturing companies for the benefit of the people. This change requires longterm commitment from manufacturers, policymakers, stakeholders and governments to make sustainable business 6.0 in organizations. The application of this approach can be combined with appropriate research and development to increase productivity.
Industry 6.0 may face many challenges in the implementation process, such as digital transformation, difficult-to-use new and advanced technologies, resource allocation, business-related technology, international trade, commercial cooperation, R&D independence, capital costs involved in development (financing need). and the use of new technologies, cost recovery training and the use of 5G / 6G technology.

Companies are eying on the professionals who suits best to bridge their requirement.   Here are 10 top technical skills in-demand we should focus on. 1.     Artificial Intelligence(AI) 2.   Cloud computing 3.    Data Analytics 4.     Internet of Things (IOT) 5.   Virtual Reality (VR ) 1.      Artificial Intelligence(AI): As per the survey of the world economic forum, artificial intelligence will create 133 million new jobs by 2025. It also is expected that the machines will do more work than the humans by 2025.   Artificial intelligence refers to the way a machine can easily mimic humans and execute tasks precisely even if it’s more complex. AI is continuously evolving as a most suitable aid for many different industries. The expectations in future from A

Reviving the past: Mercury arc rectifiers in modern engineering

  I.                     Introduction: An electrical device that transforms alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC) is called a mercury arc rectifier. It works on the basis of the mercury arc valve principle, which depends on how mercury vapor responds to an electric field. In 1902, Peter Cooper Hewitt created the mercury arc rectifier, which was used to transmit high-voltage direct current power as well as to power motors, transmissions, electric cars, and trains. Before the invention of semiconductor rectifiers like diodes and thyristors, this was the first way of high power rectification. Mercury-arc rectifiers were almost completely replaced by semiconductor rectifiers after their creation because of their lower price, improved dependability, easier maintenance, and decreased risk to the environment. Researchers have brought back this old technology. II.                   The rise of mercury arc Rectifiers: Here's how obsolete technologies like mercury arc

Pressure measurement, Pressure transducers, Lecture Note on Pressure transducers

Introduction: The pressure exerted by a static fluid depends only upon the depth of the fluid, the density of the fluid, and the acceleration of gravity. Mathematically,  P = ρgh Static and Dynamic Pressure:   Static pressure: At any point in the fluid, the small chunk of fluid experiences the same pressure from all direction and this pressure is called static pressure. Dynamic pressure: In a fluid flow the stagnation of flow results in conversion of kinetic energy into an additional pressure on the surface which is called as dynamic pressure. When a flat plate is kept against the flow, the fluid is stagnated and creates an additional pressure on the plate which is called as stagnated pressure. Stagnated pressure= Dynamic pressure + static pressure Dynamic pressure= Stagnated pressure - static pressure Pressure measuring transducer:  Often pressure is measured by transducing its effect to a deflection through use of a pressurized area and either a gravitational or elastic
